The Running Game Strategy
The aim of the Running Game technique is to entice all your checkers into your inside board and pull them off as fast as you could. This tactic concentrates on the speed of advancing your pieces with absolutely no efforts to hit or barricade your opponent’s chips. The ideal time to use this tactic is when you believe you can move your own chips a lot faster than the opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the game board; 2) all your chips have past your opponent’s checkers; or 3) your opponent does not employ the hitting or blocking strategy.
The Blocking Game Tactic
The primary goal of the blocking technique, by the name, is to block the competitor’s pieces, temporarily, while not fretting about moving your checkers quickly. After you have established the barrier for your competitor’s movement with a couple of pieces, you can move your other checkers quickly off the board. You will need to also have a good plan when to extract and shift the checkers that you used for the blockade. The game gets intriguing when your opponent uses the same blocking strategy.
